The trumpets were calling, the horns were bellowing, the drums were banging, the flags were waving, and all of the hundreds of servants were dancing their way through the city gates with a certain blue spirit disguised as a human emcee leading the way with his flaming batons.  It was everything he promised to be.  The parade was one big party.

There were belly dancers twirling around with smiles on their pretty faces, royal guards tossing up their sabers, servants carrying large and valuable treasures on their backs, and even floats containing many rare and extraordinary animals.  The people of Agrabah gathered around the streets enjoying the wonderful sights and catchy music.  They were all ever so curious of what the main attraction of the parade was.

Abu, the new elephant, stomped his way to the beat of the music through the city gates.  Leading him was Goofy, the funny looking court jester, in his bright colored outfit.  The bells of his costume jingled as he jumped around and kicked his legs up high like a dancer with two left feet.  Up on Abu's neck sat Donald with a proud smile on his bill and his arms crossed to make him look important.  Of course not a lot of eyes were on him.  They were all focused on the caravan on Abu's back.  The curtains were drawn back, and there was Prince Ali with a big smile on his face, full of pride and elegance.  Behind him sat Marina as she was slowly lifting and lowering a large fan made of ostrich feathers.

Just as the citizens of Agrabah were becoming amused of this new prince entering the city and wondering who he was, Genie started conducting the hundreds of servants into song and started with the lead solo.  It brought all the citizens to sing and dance along.  Even as they were nearing the palace, all of the guards were singing and dancing.  One wouldn't blame them.  It was a great tune that went like this:

(servants)
"Make way for Prince Ali!
Say hey!  It's Prince Ali!"

(Genie)
"Hey!  Clear the way in the old bazaar!
Hey, you!
Let us through!
It's a bright new star!
Oh come!
Be the first on the block to meet his eye!

Make way!  Here he comes!
Ring bells!
Bang the drums!
Are you gonna love this guy!

Prince Ali!
Fabulous he!
Ali Ababwa!
Genuflect!
Show some respect!
Down on one knee!

Now try your best to stay calm
Brush up your Sunday salaam
Then come and meet his spectacular coterie!

Prince Ali!
Mighty is he!
Ali Ababwa!
Strong as ten regular men
Definitely!

He faced the galloping hoards
A hundred bad guys with swords
Who sent those goons to their lords?
Why, Prince Ali!"

(servants)
"He's got seventy-five golden camels!
Purple peacocks, he's got fifty-three!"

(Genie)
"When it comes to exotic-type mammals:
Has he got a zoo?
I'm telling you!"

(servants)
"It's a world class menagerie!"

(Genie)
"Prince Ali!
Handsome is he!
Ali Ababwa!
That physique!
How can I speak!
Weak at the knee!
Well, get on out on that square
Adjust your veil and prepare
To gawk and grovel and stare
At Prince Ali!"

(servants as the parade is entering the palace gates)
"He's got ninety-five White Persian Monkeys
(He's got the monkeys!  Let's see the monkeys!)
And to view them, he charges no fees!
(He's generous!  So, generous!)
He's got slaves, he's got servants and flunkies
(Proud to work for him)
They bow to his whim
Love serving him
They're just lousy with loyalty
To Ali!
Prince Ali!"

(Genie as the whole parade entered the throne room)
"Prince Ali!
Amorous he!
Ali Ababwa!
Heard your princess was a sight
Lovely to see!
And that, good people, is why
He got dolled up and dropped by"

(servants)
"With sixty elephants
Llamas galore
His bears and lions
A brass band and more
His forty fakirs
His cooks and bakers
His birds that warble on key
Make way!
For Prince Ali!!!!"

At the last key, Prince Ali rode Carpet down in front of Sultan Hamid and bowed to him right as the royal Vizier, Jafar, and his parrot, Iago, managed to push all of the parade back outside the front door and slam it shut.

Sultan Hamid clapped his hands so excited like a child at a party, "That was splendid!  Absolutely marvelous!  That was the greatest entrance I had ever seen!  Oh, how I love parades and celebrations!  Such wonderful music!"

Along side of Abu and at full attention, stood Ali's four servants who managed not to get pushed out by Jafar and Iago.  After Marina climbed off Abu's back, she immediately held up her fan and went down to one knee.  She lowered her head, but then noticed that she was the only one among them who was bowing.

"Pst," she whispered under her veil.  "Guys, show your respect in front of the Sultan."

"Oops," Goofy quickly came down with her.

Donald followed, but right before Chip, Dale, and Jiminy peeked out from under his turban.  Jiminy spotted Genie still standing straight.

Genie leaned over and whispered, "So this is the Sultan of this time and era.  He's a lot shorter than the last one I saw."

Marina and the boys glanced up and got a good look at the Sultan at last.  He was a short, round man wearing a royal attire of pale ivory color and a blue striped belt, a turban with a big blue feather, and he had a big bushy beard as white as snow.  He had a very friendly smile on his face that Genie couldn't help himself but make his way up to the throne toward Ali.

"Genie!" Jiminy gasped.  "Don't give yourself away!  You have to act like a human in here!  Don't use any magic."

"Relax, Hippity Hoppity," Genie waved a wrist.  "I know what I'm doing."

Prince Ali stepped down from his flying carpet and bowed, "Your Majesty, Sultan Hamid, I am Prince Ali Ababwa.  I have journeyed from my kingdom far away to seek your daughter's hand in marriage."

Sultan Hamid came off his throne and quickly shook hands with him, "Oh, Prince Ali, I am most delighted to meet you.  How I love a young man who knows how to make a great entrance."

Genie grabbed the Sultan's hand and shook it, "Well, that's what you get when you have a great emcee like me, Your Greatness!  An honor to meet you, Sire."

The Sultan's turban nearly fell off from the heavy hand shaking.  He smiled and straightened it up.  "Oh yes.  Delighted as well, sir.  Such a wonderful ceremony there.  Best I've ever seen.  Ah, and this here is my Royal Vizier, Jafar.  He's delighted too."

"Ecstatic," the old Royal Vizier spoke without a trace of expression on his thin face.

"Whoa!  Don't blow us away with all that delightful energy!" Genie joked.

Jafar approached Ali, "I'm afraid, Prince Abooboo--"

"That's Ababwa, sir," Genie corrected him.  "It's pronounced the way it is spelled."

"Whatever," Jafar scoffed.  "But you just can't come parading in here uninvited and--"

"Oh, by Allah, what a wonderful way to get around," the Sultan walked around the two of them to get a closer look at Carpet.  "This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.  I didn't think that these existed anymore.  You must be the luckiest young man I have ever known.  Oh, how I've always dreamed of riding these things.  Oh. . . you don't mind if I could. . . hmm?"

Ali smiled and bowed, "Oh, why, certainly, Your Majesty.  I don't mind at all.  Allow me to help you."  He bent forward and cupped his hands to boost the Sultan up even though it was a short step up.  The Sultan stepped into Ali's hands and hopped upon Carpet like a child ready to go on his first pony ride.

However, Jafar slammed his cobra staff on Carpet, pinning him to the floor.  He hissed, "Sire, for your safety, I must advise against this."

The Sultan ridiculed, "Oh, lighten up, Jafar.  Where's your sense of fun?"  He kicked the staff and Carpet took off.

The Sultan's laughter filled and echoed around the throne room as Carpet was taking him on a crazy ride.  Up and down, back and forth, zig to zag, and loop to loop Carpet went under the control of the Sultan.  He even zipped underneath Abu's belly, and did that surprise him.  Donald, Goofy, and Marina even bowed lower to the floor a couple of times to duck out of the way.  Donald was preparing a couple of times to yell, but Marina managed to clamp his bill shut.

While the crazy ride went on, Jafar looked Ali up and down with an unpleased look.  He asked, "So. . . just where did you say you were from?"

Ali didn't know how to answer right away.  He couldn't tell him that he came from a known kingdom because there was no doubt that one like Jafar would know who the real ruler of such place.  He also knew that Jafar would know of every city and kingdom of the Arabian Desert.

So, he answered the best way he could, "Uh. . . well, it's much farther than you've traveled. . . I'm sure."

"Try me," Jafar glared at him unsatisfied.

Ali wanted to explain a bit more, but he was interrupted as the Sultan zipped over them.  They ducked in time, and then again as Carpet made a sudden u-turn.  This turn ended up as a chase between the Carpet and Iago.  The noisy parrot tried to out-fly him, but wasn't paying attention to where he was going and ended up crashing into a pillar.

Donald started laughing out loud until both Marina and Jiminy clamped his bill shut.

"This is no time for fun and games, Donald," Jiminy told him.

Marina whispered, "If we're here as servants we have to act like it."

Goofy asked, "So, uh. . . we're not suppose to speak?"

"Unless we are spoken to," said Jiminy.  "So, keep quiet or you'll blow our cover."

After a few more loops, the Sultan made a soft landing.  Of course, Carpet came to a stop, but the Sultan didn't.  He slid on the floor until he ended up back in front of Ali and Jafar.  He straighten his turban and spoke all out of breath, "Oh, by Allah, that was the most fun I've ever had in all my years!  And what a landing!  A ten point landing!  Right, Jafar?"

"Spectacular, Your Majesty," Jafar sighed with a straight face.

As the Sultan stood up straight, Carpet was having the hardest of time standing on his tassel.  He was so dizzy that he staggered all over the place.  When he finally fell over, Genie held out his arm and had Carpet drape over him, "Whoa, Rugman.  What have I told you about drinkin' and flyin'?  You're grounded."

The Sultan shook hands with Ali once again, "Oh, my boy, your just the type I'm sure will be perfect for my daughter.  Just look at him, Jafar, he's young, he's handsome, and a prince at that!  If we're lucky, Jasmine won't have to marry y--"

"Sire," Jafar whispered down to him.  "I don't trust him.  We don't even know where he comes from or how he--"

"Oh, nonsense," the Sultan frowned.  "I'm an excellent judge of character and I just know that Jasmine will like this suitor."

Ali smiled, "And I'm pretty sure I'll like Princess Jasmine."

"Your Highness, no," Jafar stood between the two of them.  "I am speaking on your daughter's behalf.  Believe me, this boy is no different than any of the others.  What ever makes him think he is worthy of Princess Jasmine."

Ali slowly pushed Jafar away, "Don't worry, Your Majesty.  I, Prince Ali Ababwa, will win your daughter's heart in no time."

"How dare you!"

All eyes turned and saw Princess Jasmine standing at entrance of the throne room from a corridor with a look of fury on her face.  Ali, Jafar, and Hamid all felt so awkward, like dogs with their tail between their legs.

"I just can't believe all of you!" Jasmine yelled.  "Standing around trying to decide how my future should be?!  I am not a prize to be won!  So, you can forget this whole thing!"  And she stormed out.

"Oooh," Genie hunched his head down.  "Now that was humiliating."

Ali apologized, "I. . . I didn't mean to make her angry like that.  I just. . ."

The Sultan sighed, "Don't worry about it, Prince Ali.  You see, my daughter is a little stubborn with choosing a suitor, but. . . if you give her just a little time, I'm sure she'll want to meet you."  He took Ali by the arm and walked him down the room, "Maybe you could talk to her at dinner tonight.  She'll love to hear more about you.  I would at least."

Genie quickly joined their side, "If that's the case, Your Majesty, then perhaps we can all head over to some guest quarters for Prince Ali to get ready.  We all wanna look our best for the Princess Jasmine.  Am I right?"

"Of course," the Sultan nodded.  "I'll have one of my servants lead all of you to the guest quarters.  I'm sure you'll find it all very comfortable, Prince Ali."

At sunset, the whole gang was making themselves comfortable in Prince Ali's quarters.  It was practically a whole house that was fit for Arabian royalty and was far under the balcony of Princess Jasmine's room.  With the royal garden and a large water fountain out in the front of the place, it was easy to get comfy right away.  But the boys had other things on their minds.

While Ali was having dinner in the palace with the Sultan and princess, Genie was out in the gardens playing a game of chess with Carpet, and losing every time.  Abu was sitting trying hundreds of times to get a bite to eat himself out of a pile of bananas, but, being an elephant now, opening one was failure at every try.  Things were quiet until Donald, Goofy, and Marina came out to the garden with Jiminy and the chipmunks after they had all heard a familiar whistle.  They looked up and saw a longboat slowly lowering into the gardens with the rest of the gang in it.

"Ah, welcome to the palace, Skipper," Genie waved.  "Olá, my feathered amigos."

"Silver!" Donald frowned.  "What's the big idea?  Are you trying to get yourself into trouble?"

"Relax, Duck," Silver killed the engine.  "Just thought this would be an easier way for all of yeh to get in together."

"Si!" Panchito hopped out.  "It was my idea to begin with.  Thought it would be easier than having trouble with that big gorilla guard."

"Sim," José nodded.  "And we brought you all a change of clothes."

"Oh good," Marina smiled as she took a pile of her clothes from José's hands.  "This should be the right time for us to talk to His Majesty about the Nightmares."

Panchito took the Nightmare radar out of his pocket, "José and I looked around the city for anything strange.  So far everything has been quiet."

Silver jumped out the longboat, "I even had them search the mountain behind the palace."

"And?" Jiminy asked.

"Nada," Panchito answered.

José explained, "There's nothing up there but rock.  We even checked the radar for the reading.  It's still not there."

Donald took the radar, "That's strange.  It was there as clear as a bell when we came to this world."

"Well, maybe the Nightmares got what they came for and took off," Genie shrugged.

"What did they come for?" Marina asked.

He waved a finger, "Ah, ah, ah.  I'm not telling ya.  If you really wanna know, you have to have the lamp."

"Yeah, yeah.  I know," Marina sighed.  "You're making it hard on us, Gene.  I'm getting more determined to know what it is."

"Well, maybe I'll tell ya after Al makes his wish to set me free," Genie smiled slyly as he leaned back against the tree with his hands behind his neck.  "I'm not saying I will, but I might.  Okay, Ruggy, my move.  You are now shredded."  He moved his rook on the board.

"Ah," Silver let out a long breath after tying down the longboat and stretching his back.  "What a grand sight, this palace.  Better than I imagined when up close in personal.  A castle of riches."  He looked up at the nearest tower and grew a smile, "And a grand place to see a young face of beauty."

Everyone looked up and saw Jasmine standing at her balcony watching the sky slowly changing to the dark of night.

Jiminy cleared his throat, "Captain, it's not polite to stare."

"Hmph. I j'st know of the expression on her face.  Watching the stars come out, longin' to be a manta bird or somet'in' like that and soar away."

"Aww," Goofy pouted.  "Poor Princess Jasmine."

"Oh!  Olá, Aladdin," José waved.  "Oh, I mean, Prince Ali!  Salami to you, Your Highness."

Everyone turned to find Aladdin walking to the gardens with his turban in his hands and his head hanging low.

Jiminy told José, "It's 'Salam'."

"Oh, no matter," Genie smiled.  "How'd it go, Al?  Enjoy your dinner with the princess and Sultan?"

Aladdin sighed, "Dinner with the Sultan was great, but. . . Jasmine didn't even show up."

"Oh," Genie lost his smile.  "Well, there's always breakfast.  Your move, Rugman."  He sat back down to his game of chess.

Marina asked, "Jasmine didn't want to see you, huh?"

Aladdin looked up seeing the princess at the balcony, "No.  I even had a servant to bring Jasmine her dinner with my compliments.  She sent it back with a message that she'd rather eat a meal sent by a real donkey."

"Ooh," Marina squinted an eye.  "That burns."

"How does that burn?" Genie shrugged.  "You can just make a wish and I'll have a donkey bring up her dinner."

Jiminy explained, "The princess was implying that she thinks of Prince Ali as a jackass."

"Ah," Genie got it.  "Oh, you're right.  That does burn."

Silver chuckled, "Yet, it works out.  I like this princess."

Aladdin sighed and started pacing, "If Jasmine won't even let me talk to her, then. . . what am I gonna do?  Something's telling me this prince thing isn't gonna work after all."

"Well, it might not be of much help," said Chip, "But Genie was curious about the princess's thoughts.  So he made that."

Aladdin looked at where he was pointing and saw behind Genie a phonograph-like machine.  Genie kept his eye on the chessboard as he explained, "Yeah, just thought we'd listen in on what the princess has on her mind so you'd know what she'd want so you can hurry in on wish number two.  Been nothing but silence ever since.  Either that thing's broken or she's just a girl of few words.  I'm just a man of one word:  Move!"

So Carpet finally made a move.  He took his queen and had it kick Genie's queen right off the board.  Checkmate.

"That's a good move," Genie grunted.  Then he spoke as Rodney Dangerfield, "Can you believe this?  I'm losin' to a rug."

"Y'know, Genie," Jiminy cleared his throat after hopping onto the board, "I'm telling you once again that listening in on someone else from a distance is very rude.  You should turn that thing off."

"Hey, you're not my conscience," Genie lifted his nose up.

Aladdin spoke in frustration, "Genie, this is serious.  What can I do?"

As Jack Nicholson, Genie place an arm around Aladdin's shoulder, "Okay, Sparky, here's the deal.  If you really wanna court the young lady, ya gotta be a straight shooter.  Ya got that?"

"Huh?"

Genie explained as Lon Chaney as the Phantom of the Opera, "The real man is what's under the mask."  He took off his mask revealing his horrible ugly face causing everyone to jump in shock.

"Genie, what are you talking about?" Aladdin frowned.

"I get it," Jiminy nodded.  "He's suggesting that you tell the princess the truth.  And I agree with it."

"No way!" Aladdin place his turban back on.  "If Jasmine knew I was nothing but a crummy Street Rat, she'd laugh at me."

Genie turned himself into the turban and had it transform into a lamp shade.  As a light bulb Genie joked, "Any woman can appreciate a man who can make her laugh."  With everyone else laughing at him, he said, "See what I mean.  Marina likes a good laugh."

But Aladdin sneered as he clicked the light bulb off.

Genie came off his head as himself with the turban in his hands, "Al, all joking aside, if you really wanna win the girl's heart, I really think you should be yourself."

"I agree," Marina came to Genie's side.  "After all, the charade can't be kept up forever."

"It can if I do things right and no one blurts anything out," Aladdin yanked the turban from Genie.

"Hey, guys!" said Dale.  "Listen!"

All eyes turned at the phonograph when they heard the sound of a very loud purr.  They looked up at Jasmine's balcony with their ears listening in.

Up on the balcony, Jasmine leaned against the railing while scratching the ears of her pet tiger, Rajah.  He nuzzled against her knees as she spoke sadly, "Could this really be my fate?  Destined to marry a complete stranger because the law says so?  Why can't Father understand me?  I just want to go out and marry for love. . . away from this prison of tradition."  She gazed into the night sky and started singing to herself.

"Lucky bird inside a gilded cage
Golden words spoke by an ancient sage
Everything you may have in life
Still all you hold is dust

Must I yearn forever to be free
Free to climb a tree and ponder
Free to wander
There's no desire I hold fonder
Than to be simply me
To be free"

(she paused to hug her best friend)
"How ungrateful is this lucky bird
Spurning privilege for one simple word
Freedom to stretch these golden wings
Freedom to to touch the sky"

(she stood up and walked toward her room with her eyes still upon the stars)
"Why, some would ask, would she want to be
Free to throw away a treasure
Poor with pleasure
I'd sacrifice riches beyond measure
Just a girl. . . with a boy
What a perfect fantasy
To find love. . . to feel joy
To be really. . . free. . . "

After the princess had returned to her room with Rajah, silence was being played by the phonograph.  However, the silence ended when Genie's started whimpering with tears literally coming out of his eyes like a pair of waterfalls.  Since José was standing close to him, he opened his umbrella shielding the flowing water.

Genie cried, "Sorry.  I'm just so moved!  I know just how she feels.  Oh, to be free."

Marina patted on his back, "There, there, Gene.  Don't be too down about it.  Al promised to set you free."  He handed him a kerchief.

"I know," he nodded before blowing his nose making the sound of a honking goose.  "I'm just so moved.  To think of a poor girl like her who has everything in life but freedom."  He handed the dripping wet kerchief back to her.

"Keep it," Marina rolled her eyes.

Genie then snapped his fingers, "That could be the trick.  Al!  Show her that you can give her some freedom.  You've got here Ol' Rugman to fly you anywhere you please!  Get my drift?"

"Hey, you're right!" Aladdin smiled.  "Genie, you're brilliant.  Now, I truly promise to set you free with my third wish."

"Good, good, good!  This will be easy as pie," Genie quickly place Aladdin's turban on, straightened his cape, and brushed his shoulders.  "There now!  You're ready!  Now when you get up there, compliment to her, don't ramble, and don't forget to be yourself."

"That's the last thing I want, Genie," Aladdin brushed Genie away from him.  He stood with pride, "When I get up there and talk to her, I'm gonna be nothing but smooth, cool, and confident."  He faced the group with a handsome smile and posture that only one who just shows off would do, "So. . . how do I look?"

Some of the boys looked at each other knowing that each of them were ashamed in Aladdin in his egocentricity.  Jiminy even wanted to say something about it, but Goofy sighed, "Ya look just like a prince, son."

Genie crossed his arms and whispered to himself, "Or a vampire on a day pass."

But what Goofy said was all Aladdin wanted to hear.  He hopped on Carpet's back and rode him up to Jasmine's balcony.

Donald frowned, "I'm starting to miss the old Aladdin."

"This 'prince' stuff has gone to his head," said Chip.

"Don't worry," Jiminy hopped up to Donald's shoulder.  "Like you said, Marina, the charade can't keep itself up.  But let's just hope that he'll really be himself."

"Maybe I should help him out a little bit," Genie quickly turned himself into a little bumblebee.  With a tiny little voice, he concluded, "After all, nobody warned him off about the princess's pet tiger."

"Uh-oh," Dale gasped.

Within Jasmine's room, she and Rajah heard a young man's voice out on the balcony.

"Princess Jasmine?"

Jasmine came to the curtain, "Who's there?"

Out alone at the railing standing tall and handsome was her new suitor.  With a voice lower than it regularly is and posing with pride again, he answered, "It is I. . . Prince Ali Ababwa."

Jasmine glared at her new suitor and his self confidence, "I do not want to see you!"

After she slapped her curtains close, Ali tried to follow her with his regular voice, "Wait, Princess.  Please give me a chance!"

Since he couldn't take a hint, Rajah roared and pushed him back to the railing as Jasmine snapped, "Just leave me alone!"

"That doesn't sound good," Silver smirked back down in the garden.

"Maybe the tiger will give him a few good words," Jiminy nodded.

Ali took off his turban as he tried desperately to shoo away Rajah and his ferocious teeth, but doing so made the large tiger even more angry.  But seeing the handsome prince without his turban, Jasmine stepped outside as she saw something very familiar about him.  With her heart thumping, she pulled Rajah back, "Wait!  Wait!  Do. . . do I know you?"

Ali quickly put his turban back on to hide his identity, "Know me?  Uh. . . no.  No.  That's impossible."

As Rajah was calm, but stared Ali down in fury, Jasmine looked upon him suspiciously, "But. . . you really look familiar.  Like someone I. . . met in the marketplace."

"The marketplace?" Ali snickered,  "Nah, that couldn't've been me.  After all, I, uh, just got in town today.  So, it couldn't be me at all."

Jasmine sighed disappointed and leaned her back against Rajah, "No.  I guess not."

"Enough about you, Casanova," a tiny voice spoke into Ali's ear.  "Talk about her already."  Ali looked to find Genie as a bee buzzing over his shoulder.  Genie gestured him on, "Go on.  Tell her all the things you told me about her.  Y'know.  She's smart, fun, the hair, the eyes-- anything!  Pick something already!"

"Uh. . . Princess Jasmine," Ali tried to decide on what to say.  "You are absolutely. . . very. . ."

Genie helped him out, "Wonderful, glorious, magnificent, impressive, breathtaking, majestic. . . . PUNCTUAL!"

"Punctual."

"Punctual?!"

"Sorry," Genie had his stinger between his legs.

"Beautiful!" Ali recovered.

Donald slapped his palm to his face, "What a maroon."

Jasmine smiled alluringly as she approached Ali, "I'm rich, too, you know."

"Yeah," Ali nodded.

"The only daughter of Sultan Hamid," she came closer.

"I know," Ali stared into her eyes.

Jasmine leaned against him seductively, "And such a fine prize for a handsome prince."

Ali shivered with a lump in his throat and butterflies in his stomach, "Uh. . . yeah!  Just like me."

"This isn't going to be good," Silver shook his head.  "I know that tone."

"Yes," Jasmine teasingly tweaked Ali's nose.  "A handsome prince. . . just like you. . ."  Then she suddenly pulled his turban over his eyes, ". . . and every other stuffed shirt, swaggering peacock of a fraud I've ever seen!"

"Ooooh!" Marina breathed in through her teeth.

"What'd I tell yeh," Silver smirked.

Ali straightened his turban finding Jasmine stomping her way back to her room, "Wait!  Princess--"

"Oh, go jump off a balcony," she cursed at him.

"Ohh!  Now that hurts!" Donald laughed.

Marina chuckled, "I'm really starting to like her."

Genie yelled, "Don't just stand there!  Stop her!  Want me to sting her?"

"Will you buzz off already?!" Ali tried not to raise his voice.

Genie scoffed, "Okay, okay.  Fine.  Just remember, Al:  Beeee yourself."

"Yeah right," Ali rolled his eyes as Genie disappeared into the lamp hidden under his turban.

"What?" Jasmine stopped when she heard him.

"Uh. . . I was just saying. . . You're right," he sighed.  "You're not just some prize to be won."  He stood up on the balcony railing, "You're the one who should decide on how your future goes.  I'll go now."  And he stepped off the edge over the hundred foot drop.

"NO!" she gasped in fear.

"What?" Ali's head came back up over the railing unharmed.

"How. . ." Jasmine came to the railing and looked over the edge.  "How are you doing that?"

Ali answered her by riding Carpet back over the balcony and in front of Jasmine.  He smiled, "It's my Magic Carpet."

Carpet took Jasmine's hand into his tassel and placed a tiny kiss upon it.

She giggled, "He's very lovely. . . and quite charming."

"It's what I came up here to ask you," Ali explained.  "I was just wondering if you'd wanna go for a little ride.  We could get out of the palace and see the world and maybe even many other worlds."

"Is it safe?"

"Sure.  You trust me?"

Jasmine looked up at Ali as she was now seeing something very familiar about the prince who was reaching his hand out to her.  His smile and his handsome brown eyes;  she just knew that she has seen them before.  With a smile in return she placed her hand into his, and took a step onto Carpet's back.  After both of them sat down, Carpet took off from the balcony and over the palace wall.

"There they go," Goofy smiled as the gang watched them leave.  "Al and Jasmine on their first date."

"And what a date," said Dale.  "A trip around the worlds in one night.  Beat that, Phileas Fogg."

"Maybe even a few hours," Silver shrugged.  "After all, even a princess has a curfew."
Finally, a new chapter.
I almost divided this in half, but I just decided not to.
And I couldn't help but write in two of my favorite songs, 'Prince Ali' and 'To Be Free': www.youtube.com/watch?v+W5_NLF…
We all know what song goes on during Al and Jasmine's date, but right now, the gang has to talk to the sultan.

If there are any grammar or spelling errors, please tell me.
