"What do ya mean she was already here?" Quackerjack frowned. "I wanna show her my toys! Especially the ones these boys just gave me!"
"Why didn't you call us earlier!?" Bushroot stepped forward. "I mean it's great enough that she had us join the Nightmares, but we're expecting something in return."
Megavolt growled, "I wanna have greater powers of electricity! I wanna have the power to create little creatures made of lightning! Oh, that would be so awesome!"
The Liquidator announced, "Tired of all the dreamy images of water? Are you the type of person who claims to be married to the sea? Well, here's news to you! I shall gang the power of Nightmares and have every wave of the bay take you into it's clutch. Literally! We interrupt this program to bring you this breaking news report! It appears that Negaduck is backing out on his teammates!"
Negaduck glared, "Who says that I am the one who backed out. The Mistress of Evil came to me wanting to grant me a new gift she discovered from some other man who has a special power. She believed that I am the one who is perfect for having such a power to take over this world."
Megavolt slouched and whined, "Ahh, that's not fair! You already have your own world! Why can't we have a share of powers?"
"Because I'm the leader of this group and deserve the power to do this! Watch and learn, boys," Negaduck reached out his hand and pinched his thumb and fore finger together as though he was picking up something invisible.
"What's he doing?" Gosalyn raised a brow.
Launchpad answered, "I think he caught a gnat."
Jiminy gasped, "Look! Darkwing's cape!"
Everyone but Darkwing noticed his cape lifting. It looked like a large hand pinched the end of it and was slowly lifting. Only there was no hand.
"DW!" Launchpad shouted. "Watch out!"
Before Darkwing could see what to watch out for, his cape lifted up high enough that he too was lifted a few feet off the ground!
"HEY! What the--!! What's going on! Put me down!" he kicked around trying to get back down, but nothing was working.
Megavolt came to Negaduck's watching Darkwing side in awe, "Whooooaa! Now that's really something!"
"And that's the tip of the iceberg," Negaduck grinned. He immediately flung his hand as though to throw something away. When he did, Darkwing was thrown over the street and crashed into a wall.
"Darkwing!" Gosalyn screamed.
With his eyes circling around, Darkwing belly flopped to the sidewalk.
"Woooow!" Megavolt's jaw dropped. "How'd you do that?"
"Watch the wall carefully," Negaduck reached his hand out again as though he was to pick something up.
Everyone watched the wall behind Darkwing and saw Negaduck's large hand shadow come down to Darkwing's shadow. Negaduck's shadow picked up Darkwing's shadow and had it stand on it feet, when that was happening, Darkwing, himself, was lifted off the ground and placed on his feet.
"The shadow!" Marina gasped.
"He can. . ." Donald whispered.
That was Negaduck's shadow flicked at Darkwing's shadow and it sent Darkwing flying to the other side of the street.
Everyone in the root coils finally understood.
"Did you see that?" Dewey blinked.
"He can control with his shadows!" Donald shouted.
"So that's how the Thunderquack crashed," said Launchpad. "Negaduck's shadow grabbed the Thunderquack's shadow."
"This is impossible!" said Jiminy. "How can this happen?!"
"Because he's a Nightmare now!" answered Chip. "Whoever made them become Nightmares gave Negaduck that kind of power!"
"Oh nuts!" said Dale. "Now I know why so many people are afraid of shadows."
"This is terrible!" Marina struggled to get out again. "We've got to help him!"
Negaduck's shadow picked Darkwing up again by the foot and started swinging him around over the Fearsome Five.
The Liquidator called like a fight announcer, "Around and around he goes. Where will Negaduck stop? No body knows. Well, it's a wonderful night for a fight, ladies and gents. It looks like Negaduck has the upper hand with this one! And Darkwing is starting to get a little dizzy!"
But Darkwing got lucky despite how dizzy he was getting. As he was flying over the street, he finally stopped when he grabbed a lamppost. His shadow slipped out of Negaduck's shadow's grip and he was free. He swung around the post and landed feet first on the sidewalk. He brought out his gun and aimed at Negaduck.
He pulled the trigger and shot out a gas pellet. However, the shadow of it was slapped away from Negaduck's shadow. It flung up in the air and exploded when it hit the sidewalk.
"Nice try," Negaduck dusted his hands. "But you don't stand a chance against me this time."
"Now just a minute!" Bushroot frowned. "This isn't fair at all. Did you just call us here so we can watch you show off your new power? We wanted our share of the Nightmares, too, y'know. How come the Mistress of Evil gives you all this and shoves us off like that?!"
Megavolt realized Bushroot's point and frowned, "Yeah! He's right. I wanna do something cool like that too!"
The Liquidator crossed his arms, "Are you having problems with you gang leader? Visit us at www.leaderpounders.com, and we'll pound your treasonous leader until he talks to reason."
Quackerjack was, on the other hand, just sitting on the sidewalk fiddling with the nephews' weapons. He brought out is banana-headed plush doll and started talking to it about the 'toys' and how excited he was to use them and how he admired the strange glow they were giving off. Huey was watching Quackerjack carefully trying to come up with a good idea for him since he was the only one of the Fearsome Five that didn't seem interested in Negaduck's newfound powers anymore.
Negaduck growled, "Are you turning against me?! You guys should be lucky enough that the Mistress even gave you a chance to become Nightmares. You all have the power of bad dreams on your side now. All of you will have the ability to summon the Class 3 Nightmares."
"Oh, that's old school stuff!" said Bushroot. "Any Nightmare can do that!"
"Yeah! We want in on what you can do!" Megavolt punched his palm.
"It's not fair that you get to do the cool stuff and we get the old stuff!" Bushroot lowered his brow.
"Dump the old stuff and get the good stuff in return," said the Liquidator. "New powers for old. How? Easy. Ask Negaduck, the one and only Mr. Hey-You-I'm-the-Leader-and-I-deserve-better-powers-than-you!"
"Oh is that so?" Negaduck stomped his foot. "Alright you useless weaklings! If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!"
"Oh, you may have the shadowy power, but you forget something," Megavolt smiled. "We can get rid of that shadow of yours!"
The Liquidator held his hand out to what was left of the fire on the wreckage and made a huge splash of water. The street lost all of its brighter light from the fire and left with the regular lights of the street lamps.
"How now, brown cow?" Megavolt ringed his hands.
"Why you worthless featherbrains!" Negaduck yelled.
"Dim bulb!" Megavolt snapped.
"Sparky!" Negaduck snapped back.
"You big meany!" said Bushroot.
"Ooooh, what language! My ears are burning!" Negaduck teased.
Dale moaned, "Didn't we already see this episode back in Danville?"
"Yes," Marina murmured. "And I'm getting a migraine from them."
The Liquidator growled, "Are you a big hog-it-all? Are you too full of pride? Is your name Negaduck? Then we got just the thing for you! We call it. . . a knuckle sandwich!!"
Darkwing lowered his gun, "Uh, guys. Aren't you forgetting about me?!"
"SHUT UP!!" the four villains shouted at him.
"Well, that's uncalled for," Darkwing scoffed.
"Alright! THAT'S IT!!" Marina shouted loud enough to turn everyone's head. "YOU! BUSHROOT! LET ME OUT!!"
No one responded.
She screamed, "I SAID LET ME OUT! NOOOOOW!!!"
"Yes ma'am!" Bushroot whimpered. He raised his hand and the slimy weed creature uncoiled its roots from the gang. The boys all fell over from the slime, but Marina stood up right away.
"What the heck are you doing!" Negaduck scolded Bushroot.
She yelled at the creature, "You! Go to your master!" When the weed creature didn't move, she raised her voice, "I SAID GO TO YOUR MASTER!!"
The weed creature flinched and ran away like a crying dog. It hid itself behind Bushroot and shivered so much that it was loosing a lot of leaves.
"Whoa!" the nephews' jaws dropped.
"Keen gear!" Gosalyn stood up. "That was awesome!"
Marina stomped her foot and faced the Fearsome Five, "Listen up and listen tight! We came here to fight you guys and not listen to your senseless bickering! So, let's just get this over with right now or we're leaving!"
"Uh... yeah!" Donald stood up. "Let'sh all fight now or we're outta here!"
Launchpad sat up and smiled, "Wow. I can see that Marina's temper hasn't changed."
Goofy chuckled, "A-hyuck. Gawrsh, Marina, that sure was good thinking."
"I'm just completely upset," Marina roared while pulling bits of slime off her clothes. "First I lose a pair of my favorite shoes in a vat of goop. Now, one of my favorite tops is slimed by a walking weed."
"Hey," Bushroot petted his creature, "Take it easy. He's sensitive about his roots."
Quackerjack laughed, "Now that's a good pun there! Sensitive about his roots!"
Marina growled, "Well, you owe me some new clothes, Bushroot! This stain will never come off!"
"Hey, hey!" Quackerjack stood up. He took Huey's slingshot and pulled the pocket up to his shoulder. "I don't think you know what situation you're in, Missy! You're the ones who don't have the power of Nightmares on your side. So take this!" He released the pocket and a pebble flung at Marina and stung her right on the shoulder.
"OW!!" she twitched and prepared to march to the crazy duck. "Why you stupid clown! I oughta slice that smile off your bill!"
Before she went five feet, Huey got in front of her, "Wait! Wait! Hey, Quackerjack, you're using that slingshot of mine all wrong. You don't shoot it with regular rocks. That just makes it plain boring. You gotta use the exploding marbles."
"Exploding marbles!" Quackerjack gasped excitedly.
"Huey! Are you crazy?" Dewey and Louie whispered.
"Watch and learn, bros," Huey smiled. "Look, Quackjack. If you wanna use my slingshot properly, you gotta know how it works. You see that small button on the handle? Give it a squeeze."
Quackerjack pressed the button. In the center of the holographic crosshairs, a small glowing ball of energy took form. Quackerjack was in complete esteem of the bright glow. He took the ball and rolled it in his fingers with a greedy giggle. Megavolt was also in admiration of the glow so much that he hardly noticed that he dropped and broke the light bulb from the traffic light.
He came to Quackerjack's side, "Now that's a pretty light. Soooo pretty!"
"Well, don't just stand there," Huey crossed his arms. "Give it a try. Shoot the marble. Oh, heck. Shoot it at Darkwing!"
"WHAT?!" Darkwing blinked.
"Oh this is gonna be good," Negaduck smirked.
"Good?! This'll be fun!!" Quackerjack pulled back the sling and aimed at Darkwing. He aimed right between the eyes and released the pocket. Darkwing flinched and covered his face with his cape expecting a big explosion.
But nothing happened.
Darkwing looked to find the glowing marble floating inches from his bill.
Suddenly the marble zipped back and bashed Quackerjack right in the face with a small explosion! He was thrown back against the wall of the building and Megavolt was pushed to the ground by the impact.
"All right!!" Gosalyn cheered. "Awesome trick, Hue!"
"Too easy, babe," he winked at her before Louie went over to fetch the weapons and threw them at his brothers. Now that the three of them had their weapons back, Huey called, "Alright, boys. Pay back time!"
"Hey! No fair!" Quackerjack sat up all charred from the explosion. "My new toys!"
"That does it!" Megavolt jumped to his feet. A stream of electricity was zapping on his plug cap as he growled, "Now it's on. You little weasels asked for it!" He grabbed the bolt in his cap and pointed at the nephews. A bolt of lightning blasted from his finger, but the boy jumped out of the way.
As Dewey landed, he twirled around to get a good run start. Then he opened his hand towards Megavolt and the bright blue light of his yo-yo glowed as it zipped through the air like an arrow. Before Megavolt could even blink, the yo-yo punched him in the face and threw him across the street.
After he crashed into a street lamp, Dewey caught the yo-yo and laughed, "Ha! Didn't know we could do that, did ya, Sparky!"
"Don't call me 'Sparky'!" Megavolt yelled as he jumped to his feet. His anger made streams of electricity run up the post and through the wiring through the streets. All of the lights in the block glowed brighter.
Everyone in the block gained about four more shadows around them like a compass. Negaduck snickered as he reached his arms out. One of his shadows grabbed a hold of one of Darkwing's shadows by the bill and dragged him down to the ground. One of the others reached for Huey's by the leg.
"Huey!" Donald gasped.
Huey was tripped. He and Darkwing were being dragged toward Negaduck.
"You like playing tricks, eh?!" Negaduck growled. "I'll show you tricks!"
Louie immediately took his paddle and pounded the green glowing ball towards Negaduck. With just a quick shift to the side, Negaduck dodged the ball and watched as it was being pulled back to the paddle, but barely noticed Donald jump in the air and swing his hammer like a bat.
"FIRE!" he called.
A ball of fire shot out from the hammer to the villains. The lot of them jumped out of the way barely escaping the hit. Negaduck released Darkwing and Huey in the jump. Darkwing quickly spun around towards Megavolt and aimed his gun. He shot out a smoke pellet that punched Megavolt in the face before it exploded. The lights in the block dimmed and the shadows around Negaduck faded down. With Megavolt coughing in the cloud of grey smoke, Darkwing faced the boys and Marina.
"Well?!" he frowned. "Like you said, Marina: Either we fight or we leave! Let's not just stand around! Let's get dangerous!!"
"And I say again, DW," Marina smiled. "I love it when you say that!" She ran towards Bushroot yelling, "You're mine, ya big weed! This is payback for sliming my clothes!"
Bushroot and his weed creature screamed together and actually started running away, but Marina kept chasing them around in circles on the block.
"Let's go, bros!" Huey joined Dewey and Louie. "Just like yesterday with Mickey. All together now!"
The three of them took their weapons and aimed at Quackerjack. The jester duck quickly pulled a water pistol out of his pocket saying, "Oh no, you don't! I want those toys back or you're gonna get it good!"
"From a water gun?" Louie cocked a brow. "Ohh, how scary."
"Ain't no water in this one," Quackerjack pulled the trigger. A large stream of fire shot out the gun. It was a flame thrower!
"NOW!!!" Huey quickly pulled back the pocket of his slingshot.
All three boys threw the glowing spheres of their weapons at the same time. The red, green, and blue lights swirled together and formed a comet. It shot out toward the flames deflecting them like a shield. Quackerjack's flame thrower was knocked out of his hands as he was pounded heavily in a large explosion.
"Keen gear!!" Gosalyn cheered. "Do it again!"
"My turn!" Donald ran towards the Liquidator. "I choose you, ya walkin' puddle!"
"Ah! And in this corner: the challenger. Donald 'the Loudmouth' Duck!" the Liquidator ringed his hands. Right away, he morphed his hands into a hammer. He raised it at the right angle and prepared to nail him for the right time. Before Donald could have a chance to move away, the hammer of water came down and splashed upon him like a pounding surf. Donald fell to his belly soaking wet and dizzy like he was hit by a giant mattress.
"And now we start the countdown!" the Liquidator spoke like a referee. "One... two..."
Donald opened his eyes and smirked when he found himself in a puddle leading to the Liquidator. He tightened his grip on his hammer and called out a quick attack.
A flow of ice went through the puddle and up the Liquidator's legs until the villain was naught but a ice statue just about to call out the number three.
"And that's the game!" Donald proudly cheered.
"Rescue Rangers away!" Chip yelled as he and Dale scurried toward Megavolt.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me," Megavolt crossed his arms. "I gotta go against a pair of rats?"
"Actually, we just have a question for you," said Chip.
Dale smiled, "What did your face look like before the elephant sat on it?"
"What?! Why you little--" Megavolt tried to zap the chipmunks, but the two of them split up and ran around him in circles. He tried to keep his eye on them, but with them both going in different directions, he didn't know which one to get first. He even tried stepping on them, but they were far too fast for him that he just looked like he was doing a strange new Spanish dance.
Marina was still chasing down Bushroot and his creature. Eventually, she used a fire attack on the creature during the chase. It only took a few seconds for it wither away to ashes, but Marina still chased down Bushroot. They kept going in circles and a few zig zags.
When she was starting to get tired of the chasing, Marina yelled, "Anytime you're ready, one of you guys can HELP ME OUT!!"
"I've got 'im!" called Gosalyn as she tossed a hockey puck in front on her. Keeping her eye on Bushroot as he was nearing her, she took a firm grip on her hockey stick. She took a mighty swing and pounded the puck. It zipped towards Bushroot and smacked him in the face. He fell on his rump and held his head in pain as the puck was now zipping towards a lamppost. It ricocheted to a brick wall and then back to Bushroot's face. He was hit and fell over unconscious.
"Ex-treme!!" the nephews cheered.
"Alright, Gos!!" Launchpad gave her a high 'four'.
Marina stopped running and stood next to Goofy to catch her breath, "Awesome shot there, Gosalyn!
"Thanks, Marina," Gosalyn winked.
"Okay, Goof," Marina elbowed him. "Let's give Chipper and Dale a hand."
"You got it... but, uh, how?"
Launchpad answered, "Megavolt's biggest weakness is water. That's why he and the Liquidator are always at a distance."
"Oh yeah!" Marina smiled. "Goofy, you think we can combine for this one?"
"Sure can!" Goofy readied his shield.
The two of them tapped their weapons together as Marina called out, "WATER!!"
The shield spun around like a discus and hovered a few inches off Goofy's hand. Right after Marina gave out her call, her sword glowed and made the discus turn from metal into water. The water stayed in one place like a spinning bubble as Goofy threw his arm back and flung the water discus at Megavolt.
Chip and Dale immediately ran away as Megavolt saw the disc of water coming toward him. He quickly ducked having the disc miss him by a few inches. Thinking his was safe, he pointed and laughed at Goofy and Marina, "HAH! You missed me!!"
But the discus made a immediately stop in mid-air for less than a second and came zipping back hitting Megavolt in the back on the head. Sure enough, the water splashed all over him causing a huge electrical surge all over his body. Bolts of lightning ran up and down his body as he was screaming and twitching like crazy.
Goofy caught the discus and Marina's sword stopped glowing. The water faded away changing back to a shield as the electricity stop jolting over Megavolt. Smoke rose from his sizzling, charred body while he moaned in pain, "Oooohh. . . I hate you."
And he fell face first to the ground.
While all of the commotion with the others was going on, Darkwing and Negaduck were having a fist fight of their own. Negaduck was doing everything he could to try and use his newfound powers with the shadows. It was especially since the moon was getting higher in the sky bringing light to the streets more than the lampposts. The two of them had a tight hold on each other's hands trying to push each other back. It was like a sumo wrestling match only instead of a circle, it was the line between shadow and light in the street.
Negaduck struggled, "Give it up, Darkwing! Even if you win, what good will it do?! These new powers of mine are irreversible! You'd be surprised how powerful a common shadow on the wall can be!"
"And what difference does it make?!" Darkwing strained as he kept pushing with all his might. "You know all your plans come to a fail as long as I'm still breathing."
"Don't count on that forever!" Negaduck finally kicked out his foot and swept off Darkwing. Negaduck attempted to punch him in the face, but his fist was dodged and pounded into the asphalt. Darkwing kicked both feet into Negaduck's stomach throwing him back a few feet. Darkwing jumped back to his feet and aimed his gun. When he fired the gun, Negaduck got up and quickly dodged the pellet, jumping all the way up to the top of a lamppost.
"Whoa!" Huey blinked. "What a jump!"
Negaduck snickered before he jumped once again. This time he leaped all the way up to the roof of the nearest two story building.
"Keen gear!" said Gosalyn. "That's a new move."
"He should play basketball for a living," Louie smiled. "Pays better than robbing banks."
"The Shadow!" Dewey gasped.
Everyone saw Negaduck's shadow was now enormous from the moonlight behind him. Before Darkwing had the chance to get all of his own shadow out of the light, Negaduck slammed his hand down like he was pushing down a large button. This made his shadow press down on Darkwing's causing the Duck Knight to fall to the ground like his was pinned.
"Darkwing!" the nephews gasped.
"Dad!" Gosalyn tried to run to him.
"No body make a step!" Negaduck yelled. "One single move and Darkwing's as good a bug on a windshield."
Launchpad held on to Gosalyn's shoulder to keep her from moving.
"Let him go!" she demanded.
Negaduck threw his other hand out like his was pushing something to the side. This made his shadow sweep against the shadows of Donald, Marina, and Goofy. The three of them flew backwards over the street and sidewalk until they were pounded against the window of store. The glass didn't break, but the three of them were being pressed hard against it like bugs.
"It's your choice now, Darkwing!" said Negaduck. "Either you or them gets squashed first."
"No fair!" Gosalyn yelled. "Let them go!!"
"Or what? You're gonna hit me with your hockey puck? Oh, I'm scared."
The nephews aimed their weapons at him.
"One more move and they all get it," Negaduck threatened them. "Go ahead and shoot. I'll just squish them in reflex."
The boys kept their aim but were afraid to shoot.
"What now, Hue?" Dewey asked.
Marina growled as it was getting harder to breathe, "Ugh. Where's a storm cloud when you need it most!"
"That's it! The shadow!" said Jiminy as he was wriggling his way out of the grip since only his feet were stuck.
"Can you get out, Jiminy?" Donald mumbled with his bill pressed in.
"I think so. Just give me a second!" he strained to pulled himself. "Oh! No good!"
"Guys!!" yelled Dale as he and Chip were hurrying towards the group.
"Of course!" Jiminy smiled. "Chip, Dale! You up for a little shadow puppet show?"
He explained, "If he can do things to us with his shadows, then perhaps it can be the same with us since all shadows can be connected."
"What are you talking about?" Dale shrugged.
"Just have your shadows do something to his and cause a distraction! Hurry!"
The chipmunks hurried back toward the arm of Negaduck's shadow. It was lucky for the two of them that they were so small that Negaduck could barely see them from his height.
Negaduck pressed down on Darkwing some more, "I'm waiting for your answer! If you don't, then perhaps it'll be a double play for me! A big order of street pizz--OUCH!!" He suddenly jumped and held on to his wrist like something bit him. Turns out that Chip and Dale had their shadows bite his on the wrist. Everyone in his grip was freed as he jumped in pain.
"Of course!" Marina caught her breath. "Jiminy, you're a genius!"
"What happened!?" Darkwing sat up.
"The shadow!" shouted Gosalyn. "You have to fight it with your own shadow!!"
"Uh. . . I knew that!" he jumped to his feet. "C'mon ever'one! Grab his feet!"
Everyone including Gosalyn and Launchpad hurried to the feet of Negaduck's shadow. They had their own grab a hold of his ankles and all together, they pulled. Negaduck was losing his balance and tried to pull his shadow back, but with all of them working together with all their strength, Negaduck slipped and fell off the building falling two stories to the sidewalk.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall," said Chip.
Darkwing pulled out his gun once more, aimed, and shot out a large net this time. Like a fly in a web, Negaduck was caught. With a smirk, he blew the smoke from the barrel and said, "And that's the taste of victory!"
"Ex-treme!!" the nephew's jumped for joy!
"Hot dog! That was awesome!" Marina pounded her fist. "Definitely a battle I won't forget."
"No kidding," Donald massaged his bill from being pressed against the glass. "Dog-gone Negaduck had it coming to him."
"So should we bring everyone to jail?" Goofy asked.
"Well, duh!" said Gosalyn. "These guys will need special lock up. Especially Negaduck with that weird new power of his."
"No matter," Darkwing crossed his arms. "I now know how to stop him if he escapes again. He has to think twice about messing with me!"
"You?!" Donald frowned. "We all worked together on this."
"Let it go," Launchpad patted his shoulder. "That's the way he is."
That was when a beeping started coming up from both Huey and Donald's pockets. Both of them pulled out their Nightmare Radars and pressed a button together.
Von Drake's face came on the screen and said, "Ah, there you are, Huey. Oh, Donald. You too. I see the lot of you is working together on this mission."
"Already done, Prof," said Huey. "We all worked together and stopped the Fearsome Five. Darkwing Duck just got Negaduck in his net and we're preparing to drag him off to jail."
"Oh, no need," Von Drake started typing at his computer. "I'll just send forth the police from here and they'll be there in no time to pick them up."
"Best make it quick, Uncle Luddy," said Marina. "Who knows how long these guys will be knocked out and the Liquidator can't stay frozen forever."
"Ah, don't worry about it," said Dewey as he started playing around with his yo-yo. "We'll take care of them if they wake up. Once they're put away, we'll be heading back to Duckburg and then it's off on Mickey's ship."
"Well, if that's the case," said Donald as he turned off his radar, ". . . then perhaps we should get going."
"Awww," Marina moaned. "Do we have to? I was really hoping that we'd get to meet up with Unca Scwooge."
"I know, but we still have a mission to follow," Donald reminded her. "Let'sh not forget that we're shtill getting a reading from the world of Nevada."
Goofy placed a hand on Marina's shoulder, "But don't worry, Marina. We'll come back here someday and visit Mr. McDuck for sure."
She sighed, "I hope so."
Launchpad asked, "So is this good-bye?"
"For now," said Donald. "We'll be back soon."
Darkwing shook hands with him, "Well then it was a pleasure having all of you join us. I could've done it all myself, but you were already here, so no need to throw you out."
Marina smirked, "I know in your language, that means 'thank you'. So, I'll say, it was no problem at all." She shook hands with him, "It was indeed an honor to have met you, Darkwing Duck. I'll never forget this. Same goes to you Ms. Gosalyn."
"Hope you guys can hurry back and teach me some of those awesome tricks of yours!" Gosalyn smiled.
Louie winked, "Oh, and I'm sure we can still go out for that pizza."
"Totally," Huey clicked his teeth.
"How about them digits?" Dewey spoke alluringly. "I'd like to look you up the next time we're around."
Marina faced Launchpad, "C'mere, ya big lug."
The two of them shared a big hug as he said, "You hurry back to us and visit now. Hear?"
"You bet, Launch," Marina smiled before giving him a peck on the cheek. She faced the nephews, "And boys. . . tell Mick that my prayers are with him as soon as you see him."
"We will," Huey nodded.
"And," said Donald. "Tell Unca Scrooge we said hello."
"Yes sir," Louie saluted.
"Could you give him a bit of a hug for me? Please?" Marina made a begging face.
"Oh, alright," Dewey rolled his eyes before both Marina and Donald hugged the three of them together.
The boys moaned, "Oh, c'mon, Uncle D. Marina. You're embarrassing us."
"Sorry," Marina parted from them. "You guys take care now. We'll be seeing you soon."
"Same to you," Huey winked.
Donald parted from the boys and told them, "Now, remember, do everything Mickey tells ya, keep you rooms clean, be on your best behavior, and work together no matter what."
"We will," they nodded together.
"And you take care too, Mr. Darkwing," said Dale.
"Yeah, I hope we get to fight together again someday," said Chip. "The Rescue Rangers are always on the job as you are."
Darkwing held out his cape, "It was an honor to have a few helping hands around. I wish you all good luck."
"Good bye, Darkwing," Marina nodded.
"See ya 'round," Goofy waved.
The gang kept their eyes on their new friends and family as they brought their weapons together and began to fade away in their teleportation.
