It seems impossible to hate Jack with those killer eyes, smile, and voice.  With such features it still give me a few chills when he played one of his best parts in his career, 'The Shining'.  Who could forget, "Heeeeeeere's Johnny!!"
He totally nailed it when he played the Joker in the 1989 Tim Burton film, 'Batman'.  To me, he was the best Joker there ever was and ever will be no matter how many new Jokers come around on the screen.
My top favorite film of his is 'As Good As It Gets'.  It's that film that he really deserved the Oscar of that year. 
I can name several other movies I love him in such as 'Anger Management', 'The Bucket List', 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', and 'Mars Attacks', but it's those first three I love the most.
